A simple, but delicious, way to enjoy a day out, after traipsing around all morning (or afternoon) shopping , is to stop off at a nice café and to indulge in a Devonshire Tea. The fact that most people these days prefer coffee never fazes the café staff, and their selections of both teas and coffees continue to build up as they recognise the potential of variety. The inclusion of Fair Trade coffees and teas also attracts those people who appreciate the Fair Trade movement.
This is the latest Devonshire I enjoyed at a small but busy little café in a small village* of The Basin here in Victoria. The name of the café invites you to go in and try their delicacies at any time – it’s called The Chocolate Dragonfly.
* Villages here in Victoria, of which there are many, are small and while totally unlike Britains’s villages as we tend to think of them, they are still very appealing and popular.
